I really hate it when I go somewhere and leave something at home that I need. That happened often until I found a simple solution. Whatever I need to take with me I put with my car keys, because that is the one thing I have to have to leave home.
I also found that managing my perception is my key to a happy life. In a scene from Star Trek Insurrection Anij says this fantastic line. “Yes, exactly, nothing more complicated than perception.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdgjUPMiiEc Perception is the key. However, for humans it’s immensely complicated.
For me, it is what I connect to the important things in my life. It affects almost everything. Managing my perception is my main task each day. I’m going to take several posts to address this subject in different ways, like I did with Trust, Rebounding and Surrender.
We watched Mary Poppins many times when my daughters were little and still love it. When Mary Poppins Returns debuted, we liked the movie, but not as much as the original. However, I thought the theme was fantastic. It’s all about looking at things differently. In the song, Turning Turtle, there is a powerful line. “When you change the view from where you stood, the things you view will change for good.”
